NGWA MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The National Ground Water Association (NGWA), founded in 1948, is a not-for-profit professional society and trade association for the ground water industry and professions. Our more than 23,000 members from nearly 70 nations include the world's leading ground water geologists and hydrologists, engineers, ground water contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers of ground water-related products and services. From its Columbus, Ohio headquarters, NGWA provides guidance for sound scientific, economic, and beneficial development, protection, and management of the world's ground water resources.
Today's NGWA's diversity of goals, objectives, and achievements makes it unique among professional societies and trade associations. The goal of collecting and dispensing ground water knowledge benefits not only members, but also federal, state, and local governments which seek NGWA's expertise. NGWA Goals
NGWA is an individual membership organization, which means that membership benefits are recognized only for individuals actually listed as members on NGWA records. An Individual Membership Organization
